This approach has proved highly successful in practice - from a team of only three staff in 1984, our clients' expanding needs are today supported by four partners and more than twenty employees.

MALCOLM JONES FCA Qualifying in Reading in 1978 Malcolm, moved to Leeds, initially working for a big multinational and then local firm. He formed Malcolm Jones & Co. in 1984. Malcolm has a keen interest in all areas of tax planning. |

MICHAEL JACKSON Mike Jackson spent 20 years with the Inland Revenue before joining Malcolm Jones & Co. in 1989. He is now the partner with responsibility for the Tax Department comprising 5 members and incorporating a payroll bureau section. Mike has many years of experience in dealing with Inland Revenue and Customs & Excise Investigations. |

PETER INGHAM After many years combining a career in accountancy with a period of playing for Yorkshire CCC, Peter joined Malcolm Jones & Co. in 1986. Peter's department is largely responsible for providing services and advice to unincorporated businesses ranging from corner shops to large professional and medium size family companies. |

MARTIN SMITH FCCA Martin has been with the firm since its inception, progressing from Accounts Junior to Audit Manager. During that time he has trained and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Since becoming a partner in May 1999 he continues to be primarily responsible for the affairs of limited companies, including company formations, incorporation,accounts preparation, auditing, and all areas of corporate taxation. |
